It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. Christy Fuller received a Master’s from the University of Nevada, Reno in December 2011. While at UNR, she found a love for behavior analysis when she started working with young autistic learners in 2002. Since graduation, she has worked for big service providers and smaller service providers in schools, at home, and in clinics. She is passionate about our state and the application of our science, and is proud to have served on Nevada’s ABA Board since its inception. In her free time, she can be found spending time with family, hiking, running, tinkering in her garden, volunteering on other boards, or spending time with friends.
Dr. Patrick A. Leytham is a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst through the Behavior Analytic Certification Board and a Licensed Behavior Analyst through the State of Nevada. He has been practicing within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis as a Registered Behavior Technician (2017 – 2019) and a BCBA (2019 – current). Dr. Leytham earned his Doctorate of Philosophy in Special Education, focusing his studies on literacy strategies for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is also licensed as a Special Educator (2007 – current), holds an endorsement to teach children with ASD, and has taught exceptional children (i.e., ADHD, ASD, FAS, ID, LD, etc.) from early childhood through high school in general education, resource, and self-contained classrooms. From 2011 through 2021, Dr. Leytham also taught special education coursework at multiple institutions of higher education (CSN, UNLV, WSU, TUN), wherein he (a) conducted research on children and adolescents with ASD, (b) published several articles relating to special education, behavior analysis, and teacher education preparation, (c) presented at local, national, and international conferences, and (d) engaged in community outreach programs focused on improving the lives of families with exceptional children. He currently serves as the Secretary/Treasure for the Nevada Applied Behavior Analysis Board. In his free time, Dr. Leytham enjoys watching soccer and ice hockey, as well as spending time outdoors spearfishing and camping.
